Independence & Wellbeing Advisor - £11.00 per hour. Immediate start. 37 Hour Week. Temporary Position covering whilst recruiting and as a Temp YOU will also be able to apply!

A great opportunity for an Independence & Wellbeing Advisor to join this busy, friendly Housing Team. Our client is looking for someone who has the ability to work with Older People, assisting them with Independent Living. You will need the following skills and experience:

• Previously worked with Older People, understanding the complex issues that can arise on a day to day bases
• Have an up to date understanding of Housing Management and Support Services
• Current knowledge of Housing Benefits
• Ability to deal with Bereavement and Loss
• Knowledge of Support Services available
• Have strong communication skills and ability to quickly engage
• Effective Problem solver
• Ability to empathise, be patient and understanding and have excellent listening skills
